Privacy Policy
Protection of your data is of great importance to us. To fully inform you about the use of your personal data, we ask you to take note of the following data protection notices in accordance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation of the EU).
Scope
This data protection declaration clarifies users on the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the responsible provider Dr Georg Bézard, on this website (hereinafter “Provider”).
Purpose of storage and handling of personal data
Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i.e., information that can be traced back to a person. This includes, among other things, the name, the e-mail address or the telephone number. The data you provide is required to fulfil contracts or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Unfortunately, we cannot complete contracts with you without this data. Furthermore, your data is used for web analysis and helps us improve our services and website. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymised and, if necessary, stored until the end of the business relationship, but for a maximum of 7 years to fulfil the general storage obligation. For detailed information, please contact the provider. The collection of personal data is kept to a minimum by the provider and only includes the data that is described in the following points.
Access data/ server log files
The provider (or their web space provider) collects data about every access to the offer (so-called server log files). The access data includes: Name of the accessed website, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting party providers. The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimisation of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to subsequently check the log data if there is a justified suspicion of illegal use based on specific indications.
Contact
When contacting the provider (e.g., via contact form or e-mail), the information provided by the user is stored for the purpose of processing the request and in the event that follow-up questions arise.
Your rights
In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
Cookies

On the one hand, they serve the user-friendliness of websites and thus the users (e.g., storage of login data). On the other hand, they serve to collect statistical data on website use and to be able to analyse them in order to improve the offer. Users can determine the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option to restrict or completely prevent the storage of cookies. However, it must be noted that the use and, in particular, the ease of use are restricted without cookies. You can opt out of many online advertising cookies from companies via the US site http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/ .
Use of:
Google Web Fonts
This site uses web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display text and fonts correctly. For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to the Google servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website was accessed via your IP address. Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offering. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer. You can find more information about Google Web Fonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
Google Maps
This site uses the Google Maps map service via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. In order to use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer. Google Maps is used in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offers and to make it easy to find the places we have indicated on the website. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. You can find more information on the handling of user data in Google’s data protection declaration: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
Facebook Social Plugins
This offer uses social plugins (“plugins”) from the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”). The plugins can be recognized by one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on a blue tile, the terms “Like”, “Like” or a “thumbs up” sign) or are marked with the addition “Facebook Social Plugin”. The list and appearance of the Facebook Social Plugins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/. If a user calls up a website of this offer that contains such a plugin, their browser establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Facebook to your browser, which integrates it into the website. The provider therefore has no influence on the scope of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and therefore informs the user according to his level of knowledge: By integrating the plugin, Facebook receives the information that a user has accessed the corresponding page of the offer. If the user is logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to his Facebook account. If users interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the Like button or making a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, there is still the possibility that Facebook will find out and save their IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymous IP address is stored in Germany. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as the relevant rights and setting options for the protection of the privacy of the users can be found in the Facebook data protection information: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/ . If a user is a Facebook member and does not want Facebook to collect data about them via this offer and link it to his member data stored on Facebook, they must log out of Facebook before visiting the website. Further settings and objections to the use of data for advertising purposes are possible within the Facebook profile settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.

With the help of the buttons, it is possible to share a contribution or page of this offer on Twitter or to follow the provider on Twitter. When a user calls up a website on this website that contains such a button, their browser establishes a direct connection to the Twitter servers. The content of the Twitter button is transmitted directly from Twitter to the user’s browser. The provider therefore has no influence on the scope of the data that Twitter collects with the help of this plugin and informs the users according to their level of knowledge. According to this, only the IP address of the user and the URL of the respective website are transmitted when the button is accessed, but not used for purposes other than displaying the button. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the user is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online offer by users, to compile reports on the activities within this online offer and to provide us with other services related to the use of this online offer and internet usage. Anonymised user profiles can be created from the processed data.
We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymisation. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser is not merged with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; In addition, users can prevent the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the online offer from being collected and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
If we ask the user for their consent (e.g., in the context of a cookie consent), the legal basis for this processing is Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. GDPR. Otherwise, the personal data of the users are processed on the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e., interest in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO).
As far as data is processed in the USA, we would like to point out that Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thereby guarantees compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
You can find more information on data use by Google, setting and objection options in Google’s data protection declaration (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and in the settings for the display of advertisements by Google (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated).
The personal data of the users will be deleted or made anonymous after 14 months.
Target group building with Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics in the form of “universal analytics”. “Universal Analytics” refers to a Google Analytics process in which the user analysis is based on a pseudonymous user ID and thus a pseudonymous profile of the user is created with information from the use of different devices (called “cross-device tracking”).
Zielgruppenbildung mit Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to only display the ads placed within the advertising services of Google and its partners to those users who have also shown an interest in our online offering or who have certain characteristics (e.g., interests in certain topics or products, which are based on the visited website), which we transmit to Google (“remarketing” or “Google Analytics audiences”). With the help of remarketing audiences, we also want to ensure that our ads correspond to the potential interests of users.
